HONG KONG SALARIES COMMISSION.
The attached newspaper cuttings, which we have just
received from our Hong Kong house, may possibly be of interest to
you as showing the opinion of the local community, who have got
to find the money at a time of great commercial depression,
about the local Government's action in improving the already
generous pay and service conditions of Government servants in
the face of universal opposition.
